Casa Abamita – A Favorite for Families in Barcelona

The hotel offers a mix of studios and rooms, including Superior Studio, Standard Interior Studio, Family Studio, and Double or Twin Room with disability access. Each studio comes with a kitchenette equipped with a ceramic hob, microwave, and fridge, plus a private bathroom with a rainfall showerhead. Some studios include a private balcony with street views, and all accommodations have high ceilings and a flat-screen TV.

A unique antique elevator carries guests to the upper floors, adding character to the building. The property provides air conditioning and key card access for security, along with a safety deposit box in each room. Guests can communicate with staff through a messaging service for check-in instructions and requests, as reception is not manned around the clock.

Casa Abamita sits in the Raval neighborhood, 600 metres from Plaça Catalunya and 700 metres from La Seu Cathedral. La Rambla, the Picasso Museum, and the Gothic Quarter are all within a short walk, while Sagrada Familia is reachable by metro. A supermarket is located next door, and the Aerobus stop to Barcelona El Prat Airport is a 10-minute walk away.

The Family Studio can sleep up to four guests with a king bed and a sofa bed, plus a full kitchenette for preparing meals. The hotel's central location allows families to walk to child-friendly attractions like the Barcelona Zoo and the Port Cable Car. The nearby supermarket and several restaurants on the same block make self-catering and dining easy for families.

Check-in is done via a self-service machine that provides door codes, with instructions sent before arrival. The staff can arrange luggage storage at a nearby sister hotel for early arrivals or late departures. Guests can contact the team through a messaging app for assistance, including room upgrades when available.
